Film Night. 7.30pm Friday 23rd March, All Saints Church

Come and enjoy the film "The African Queen" with us at our next film night. The story stars Humphrey Bogart as a dissolute steamboat captain and Katharine Hepburn as a missionary spinster who form an unwillingly partnership when she is forced to accept a passage on his boat.
We'll provide some simple refreshments, but please bring your own if you prefer. There is no charge for the evening, but donations to costs are welcome.

Holy Week. Sunday 25th March to Sunday 1st April

The last week of lent is called Holy Week and leads us up to Easter day. We have the following services and events to which you are warmly invited:
On Palm Sunday, 25th March, there are family services at 9am at All Saints and 10.30am at Holy Trinity. We will remember the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, his path strewn with branches by the welcoming crowds.
On Maundy Thursday, 29th March, we have a service at the Rectory at 7.30pm. This is a time to remember the last meal that Jesus had with his disciples when he washed their feet and shared bread and wine, the symbols of the breaking of his body and shedding of his blood.
On the morning of Good Friday, 30th March, we are holding our Craft Workshop from 10am to 12.30pm at All Saints church. This is an all age event with crafts for everyone. All children to be accompanied by an adult, please. Refreshments will be served. There is no charge for the morning, but any donations will go towards costs.
At 2pm on Good Friday we spend an "Hour at the cross" in a special service at Holy Trinity.
On Easter morning, 1st April, we hold two communion services. 9am at All Saints and 10.30am at Holy Trinity. These will be a time of celebration as we praise God for the resurrection and the power of the redemptive work of the cross.
